Another Storm Has Arrived
We watched the clouds move in yesterday afternoon as a prelude to the snow that started this morning. Currently, with the temperature hovering near the freezing mark, this is a wet heavy snow. So far there has been little or no wind associated with this storm. Overnight the temperature changed very little, only about 3°F. In addition, the sky has remained overcast.
According to N.O.A.A. this system is to remain in place all day. They are calling for this to be an ice event, but right now it is snowing. The temperature is only expected to rise about 8°F. The sky is forecast to remain overcast.
With the relative humidity at 84% my Weather Stick points down. All three of the electronic instruments forecast deteriorating barometric pressure. My Weather Station, Console is forecasting a storm. The other two instruments are forecasting inclement weather. Based on this data and the information from N.O.A.A. we can expect this storm system to remain in place all day.
