December 2006 Summary
As a general observation this has been a warmer than usual month. We have not had a lot of sun, but we have not had a lot of rain either. It has been either cloudy and warm or cloudy and cold. The weather certainly has not been conducive to getting outside for outdoor sports like skiing.
It appears that we had just a few more hours of sunlight during December than we did in November. 17 of our mornings were overcast or mostly cloudy, and 16 of our afternoons were the same. I think we are again in need of some sunshine to improve our attitudes.
We did not have a White Christmas, but we did have a white New Year’s Eve. We had quite a bit of precipitation, but only 9.5 inches of snow, putting us way behind in that category.
