A Very Small Payment

This first installment only paid us with one inch of new snow. It ended around 15:00 hours this afternoon. N.O.A.A. called for snow all day, and, although it was light it did snow for most of the day. The cloud cover was nearly 100% most of the day. Even now it has not begun to break up, so I would guess we are not done with this series of storm systems.
For the overnight N.O.A.A. predicts snow for our area. Once again the temperature will not change much, and it will remain very cloudy with high humidity making it feel quite raw. It certainly will not be a comfortable evening to be out of doors.
My Weather Stick points down with 84% relative humidity. The electronic instruments are very confused. The Weather Station Console predicts foul weather with the barometric pressure falling. The Min/Max Thermometer forecasts partly cloudy skies with improving barometric pressure. Finally the remote weather station predicts that the barometric pressure will fall, but the skies will be partly cloudy. I do not think any of them are accurate at this point. My best guess is that the clouds will remain in place, and we may have some more snow overnight. If we do not we will probably get it tomorrow.
