Now we have a starting point. According to my analog snow gauge we currently have 1 inch of snow on the ground as a result of the installment we had yesterday.

The snow is currently falling at a moderate rate, but it will take a while to determine the exact rate. The temperature is well below freezing, so this will probably remain snow for the entire event. The ski areas should also be able to make a significant amount of snow to add to their trails.
For today N.O.A.A. predicts snow. They also forecast the cloud cover to increase to and remain at 100%, but the relative humidity is expected to decrease from 100% to 68% by 13:00 hours and stay there for the rest of the afternoon. Again, according to N.O.A.A. we can expect about 2 inches of snow for the period to 19:00 hours this evening. We will have to see about that.
My weather Stick points down--72% humidity, O,K. maybe it is predicting some foul weather as well as the high humidity. My electronic instruments are not doing any better today. The Weather Station Console predicts foul weather with falling barometric pressure. The Min/Max Thermometer forecasts rising barometric pressure with partly cloudy skies. Finally the remote weather station predicts partly cloudy skies with steady barometric pressure. I look out of my windows and see snow falling. That would have to be my prediction, that we will have snow today, and probably quite a bit of it.
