While there was a bit more precipitation overnight it did not add enough to the total to be measured. I am a bit late with this report since I slept in after getting the worst of the dooryard cleared last night. It was the first snow that needed to be moved this season. There are rumors that we may have some more toward the end of the week. N.O.A.A. had the overnight predominant weather about right, but the result did not add to the total as noted above. It also appears that they had the best forecast of the temperature and relative humidity that they have had in a while.
For today N.O.A.A. has us in light snow, but the sunshine seems to be obscuring the flakes. (Ha-Ha, joke). They also indicate that the temperature will not get out of the twenties. The cloud cover is expected to be from the mid-seventy to the mid-sixty percent range.
My Weather Stick points slightly down with the 59% relative humidity. My three electronic instruments forecast different scenarios. The Weather Station Console forecasts clear skies with rising barometric pressure. The other two are calling for partly cloudy skies with rising barometric pressure. I expect high pressure to continue to take control as the storm system moves off shore leaving us with some cold and windy conditions. Be careful of the windchill factor today and tonight. .
