Remember Wind Chill?
If you do not remember wind chill do step outside and you will be instantly reminded of exactly what it is. The sky has cleared here, the wind has returned with the cold dry arctic air to give us some real wind chill. N.O.A.A. did predict some snow today, but we did not see it here. What we have seen is bright sun, brisk winds and cold temperatures.
For the overnight N.O.A.A. predicts no precipitation, cold temperatures, little or no clouds (less than 35%) and lower relative humidity. In other words we have a real winter evening after a snowstorm.
My Weather Stick points slightly up responding to the lower relative humidity and cold temperatures. My three electronic instruments have responded in concert to the lower relative humidity, higher barometric pressure and lower temperatures to predict fair skies and rising barometric pressure. Do you think they may be on to something? I do. I think we are going to see one of the coldest, crispest nights of the season. Wow!
