Clouds Acting As A Blanket

The sky started out clear last night, and by 01:00 the temperature was under -12°F. It looked like it was going to go even lower until some clouds began to move in to halt the radiational cooling. By 05:00 hours it had risen to almost -2°F, warm compared to earlier in the morning. Those clouds may be the harbingers of some foul weather heading our way for tomorrow. N.O.A.A. had the predominant weather correct for the overnight, since we had no precipitation. This was one of those times when it was too cold to snow.
For today N.O.A.A. is calling for no precipitation, cloud cover increasing to about 64%, the temperature reaching a high of 20°F and the relative humidity dropping to 49% by 13:00 hours and recovering to 84% by 16:00 hours. The "warm-up" to the twenties is perhaps the most delightful part of their forecast.
My Weather Stick, in response to the 68% relative humidity, points straight out again, or maybe it is calling for unsettled weather. My electronic instruments are all forecasting falling barometric pressure, and when that pressure topped out at 30.63 in.Hg I would expect it to fall from there. The Weather Station Console forecasts partly cloudy skies, the Min/Max Thermometer forecasts foul weather and finally the remote weather station forecasts fair skies. My suspicion is that we can expect some unsettled weather with partly cloudy skies, cold temperatures and some wind with deteriorating conditions into tomorrow.

Comparative data for the overnight.

Relative Humidity: 50%/53%//61%/61%//61%/68%//68%/68%.

N.O.A.A. did not do very well with the forecast for the temperature for the overnight, but they did do much better with the relative humidity forecast. That is certainly unusual.
Forecast data for today.

Did you see the RED sunrise this morning??? Are you aware that they have already put us under a winter storm watch???
My hand is aching, too!
Harbingers of an impending blow, maybe?
BTW - you are mentioned in the notary article...
