Still Warm But Snowing

2 Inches of New Snow
Right now the sun appears to be trying to show its face. N.O.A.A. had the prognostication for the predominant weather correct, we did have snow. The sky is still mostly cloudy to overcast, but the temperature is rising rapidly. In the next few minutes I expect it to pass the freezing mark (10:38 hours it is 31.6°F). At 23:00 hours last night it had not started to snow here.
For today N.O.A.A. predicts continued snow, but from the NEXRAD composite radar the bulk of this storm is now past us. There is more precipitation in New York and Ohio, butt I am not sure it will get here anytime soon. The cloud cover forecast calls for it to remain at or near 100% all day. The temperature is also forecast to remain above freezing at 16:00 hours.
My Weather Stick points down (83% humidity--no surprise). The electronic instruments see stormy weather with falling barometric pressure, and that means all three of them. Right now it has stopped snowing, but that could change over the next several hours. We may wind up with only 2 inches of snow out of this one, or we may yet get more.
