Ccccccold
As expected the temperature fell as the sky finished clearing. By 07:00 hours this morning there was not a cloud in the sky, and the forecast snow (by N.O.A.A.) never did materialize. The temperature in my barn was 7°F, while on the north side of the house it was 0.9°F and at my Weather Station (about 60 feet from the house) it was 3.7 degrees. That goes to prove the old adage that everything is dependant on location, location, location.
For today N.O.A.A. forecasts clear skies with the lowest predicted cloud cover I can recall seeing, starting at 1% and remaining there until 16:00 hours when it rises to 3%. The temperature is forecast to rise almost 20°F, so it may feel almost balmy by mid-afternoon.
My Weather Stick points straight, again in response to the 53% relative humidity. Two of my electronic instruments forecast fair skies with a rising barometer. The remote weather station forecasts partly cloudy skies with again rising barometric pressure. With all this positive data who am I to disagree. I would suggest high pressure taking control of our weather, but it will remain cold with a significant wind component resulting in some nasty windchill factors.

N.O.A.A. missed the forecast for the temperature until the last point this morning for our area. The relative humidity forecast was not much better. N.O.A.A. seems to have its problems forecasting that parameter.
Forecast data for today.
