The snow shower that I saw this morning was all we got. It stopped within about 15 minutes of the completion of the report.

We did not have any more during the day. In fact the clouds started to break up and at mid-afternoon we were down to cirrocumulus clouds. The light snow just was not everywhere, and you had to be where it was to see it. The best we can say is that N.O.A.A. was partly right on this one.
N.O.A.A. is predicting the continuation of the light, scattered snow showers for the overnight. They are also forecasting continued thickening and lowering of the cloud cover. They see the temperature reaching the single numbers, but not as cold as it was this morning.
My Weather Stick is still responding to the 57% relative humidity pointing slightly up. All three of the electronic instruments forecast foul weather, and with the temperature where it is that would mean snow. Earlier this afternoon the Weather Station Console had the storm alert activated, and that is one step above foul weather. All of these instruments are responding to a significant drop in the barometric pressure. That usually portends foul weather moving in. For my part I think that the temperature will be quite cold, and we may yet have some more white precipitation before morning. It may not amount to much, but we may have it just the same.
