Another Arctic Blast
Here it is just a little after 23:00 hours and the temperature is already -5.6 degrees below 0 Fahrenheit. This is not nice. N.O.A.A. and I did get the predominant weather correct, and the fact that the temperature never did make it out of the single numbers today. It was a very pretty day, and if it had been summer it would have been warm. Well, it was not warm at all. This is a day to remember those days when we rode our bicycles and needed to drink three liters of water in four hours. It is good we can remember those days.
For tonight get ready for a repeat of last night, cold and windy. Clear skies with many stars visible.
My weather stick points up, and it is cold clear and dry. Is that a portent or just the 53% relative humidity? Two of my electronic instruments forecast a rising barometer with partly cloudy conditions. The remote weather station forecasts the same type of barometric pressure with cloudy conditions. I disagree slightly. I see the sky as clear, as it was at 16:00 hours, many stars, cold temperatures and some wind.
