Do We Have Some Snow In Our Future?

Overnight there was significant cloud cover that allowed the full or nearly full moon to shine through, but it was definitely not at full brightness. That cloud cover did not provide the insulation it usually does to keep our temperatures from falling too far. Once again it got colder than they expected, the cloud cover was at least 50% and the relative humidity was close for most of the overnight. There was no precipitation, so N.O.A.A. did get that part right.
For today N.O.A.A. forecasts scattered light snow showers (based on the graphical forecast maps), temperatures in the low twenties, cloud cover falling from 83% to 65% and the relative humidity falling from 95% to 38%. A dry, cold, cloudy day is in store for us according to N.O.A.A.
My Weather Stick points straight out, and the relative humidity is 72%. So where is the surprise? My electronic instruments leave me as confused as the weather stick this morning. The Weather Station Console forecasts fair skies and rising barometric pressure. The Min/Max Thermometer forecasts partly cloudy skies with falling barometric pressure. The remote weather station forecasts cloudy skies with steady barometric pressure. Would anyone else like to weigh in on this one? My own feeling is that we will have cloudy skies with a chance of some light precipitation (frozen). I do not think there will be much accumulation. There does not seem to be much wind this morning, and I expect that to continue. Thank goodness, the windchill lately has been significant and biting.

N.O.A.A. did okay with the forecast for the temperature for the overnight. The relative humidity forecast was equally well done with the exception of the last point, which was forecast over 20% high.
