I was in a class this evening, but when my wife went out to pick some things up at the store she informed me that we did have a snow shower. There was no snow to measure by the time I got home, but we did have precipitation within the 24 hour time that I set forth. If she had not told me I would not have known it. N.O.A.A. did predict light scattered snow showers today, and they did get it right.
For the overnight the prediction is for no precipitation here, but there may be some scattered snow showers just north of us. There is also a prediction of temperatures in the single numbers (above zero), clouds coming and going (right now they are gone) and relative humidity ranging from the mid-forties to the upper sixties.
My Weather Stick still responds to the 56% relative humidity pointing slightly up. All three of the digital, electronic instruments forecast rising barometric pressure. For the weather type they all disagree. The Weather Station Console forecasts fair weather, the Min/Max Thermometer forecasts partly cloudy skies and the remote weather station forecasts cloudy skies. Based on the N.O.A.A. forecast and these instruments my best guess is that we will have partly cloudy skies with no precipitation and a bit of wind. It will feel colder than it really is so dress for the colder temperatures.
