No Snow Yet, But It Is Threatening
It actually feels warmer this morning than it has for a while. The clouds continue to thicken and lower threatening a storm. N.O.A.A. is still threatening snow today and into tonight, but the NEXRAD radar and Weather Underground model forecast maps show the storm actually going south of us. We may get a bit of "backdoor snow" coming at us from the northwest tomorrow morning between midnight and 03:00 hours Saturday. It does not appear to be significant.
My Weather Stick points down and the relative humidity is 72%. That makes sense. My Weather Station Console has an active storm alert. The Min/Max Thermometer forecasts foul weather with a falling barometer and the remote weather station calls for clouds and a falling barometer. I will suggest, based on the NEXRAD radar and Weather Underground model forecast maps that we may get a little snow, but nothing significant. The barometric pressure is falling, but the storm has already started to move south of us, so it will only give us a glancing blow. Sorry folks, maybe we will get all the snow we deserve next time. At least the ski areas will be able to continue to make snow.
