The Mid-Fifties And After The Temperatures Of Last Week.

What a change has been wrought in just a few days. The maps are showing a flow of weather systems straight across the country. That seems to have the cold are temporarily blocked north of us. Right now, we will take it. N.O.A.A. said no precipitation today, but the clouds did hang in making it a partly to mostly cloudy day. The sunset was not as spectacular as the sunrise. It was a great day to finish splitting the wood I had cut yesterday, and now it is all finished for the moment.
For the overnight N.O.A.A. predicts no precipitation, cloud cover remaining about the same as it has been all day (83%/80%/76%/75%) and temperatures in the mid-twenties. This does not sound too bad. There are a few echoes showing up on the NEXRAD radar, but they do not look like they will affect us. The Weather Underground model forecast maps do not indicate any precipitation for the area until at least Thursday.
My Weather Stick is trying to make itself into a circle due to the very low relative humidity; it just will not quite make it. The electronic weather instruments do not seem to be able to agree again this evening. The Weather Station Console forecasts foul weather with falling barometric pressure. The Min/Max Thermometer forecasts partly cloudy skies with falling barometric pressure. The remote weather station forecasts clouds with falling barometric pressure. The one thing they all agree on is that the barometric pressure will fall. With all this information, I would suggest that there is a possibility of some scattered showers, but the temperatures will remain mild, but low enough that the precipitation (if you get any) will be frozen.

The Weather Stick at 45% Relative Humidity
Comparative data for today.
Temperature: 22°F/29.8°F//35°F/38.4°F//42°F/48.0°F//43°F/57.0°F
Relative Humidity: 81%/65%//56%/55%//46%/40%//41%/27%.

The temperature rose faster than N.O.A.A. predicted, and it rose higher than they said; therefore, they only get a fair rating for that part of the forecast. The relative humidity forecast was close for the middle part of the day; therefore, they get a middling fair rating for that part of the forecast.
Forecast data for the overnight.
Temperature: 35°F/30°F/26°F/23°F
Relative Humidity: 54%/70%/86%/86%
