Most Of The Indicators Say Foul Weather

Today the clouds were present at one level or another all day. We had no precipitation, so N.O.A.A. was correct there, and the temperature did rise into the fifties again. The driveway is almost clear of ice and snow, and the lower driveway is almost hubcap deep with mud. Could this be the start of our fifth season (mud season). If it were that would be all right. It was cloudy-bright and a warm enough day to be quite pleasant.
For the overnight N.O.A.A. predicts light rain for our area, cloud cover decreasing until 01:00 then increasing (80%/70%/60%/71%) and temperatures getting close to freezing. The NEXRAD radar shows some showers in the area, and others headed our way. These are expected to be hit or miss. The Weather Underground model forecast maps indicate that we may have showers and or rain overnight and into tomorrow.
My Weather Stick points up representing the 60% relative humidity. Two of the three electronic instruments forecast foul weather with falling barometric pressure. The remote weather station also forecasts falling barometric pressure, but cloudy conditions only. The sky currently is overcast, and as I left Farmington this evening there was a light shower. Hedging my bets I will suggest that we may get some showers overnight and more prolonged periods of rain tomorrow. I do not expect the temperature to change very much, and we may even get away without going below freezing overnight. That will be close.

Comparative data for today.

The temperature did not follow forecast, and it began to rise earlier than predicted. I can only give N.O.A.A a fair rating for the temperature. The relative humidity forecast did all right for the second half of the day, so they get a mediocre rating for that. They will try again, until they get it right.
Forecast data for the overnight.
Temperature: 40°F/37°F/34°F/32°F
Relative Humidity: 59%/72%/82%/88%
