Once Again We Did Not Go Below Freezing
Every night that we do not go below freezing the snow pack gets a little thinner. Right now thin is good. It has been cloudy overnight, but I am still not recording any precipitation as N.O.A.A. forecast for the overnight. As noted above the temperature remained above freezing and the wind was not a factor.
For today N.O.A.A. forecasts rain all day, cloud cover in the 80%+ range (79%/79%/80%/87%) and temperatures in the mid to upper forties. There is some precipitation moving in our direction according to the NEXRAD radar. The Weather Underground model forecast maps show us having precipitation not only today, but also for the rest of the week as well.
My Weather Stick points slightly up in response to the 70% relative humidity. All three of the electronic instruments are forecasting falling barometric pressure with foul weather. Looking outside I am not going to disagree with them. I think we will have some rain today, I just hope my rain gauge is up to the task.

Comparative data for the overnight.

Relative Humidity: 59%/78%//72%/65%//82%/74%//88%/68%.
The temperature comparison overnight was much better than it has been with only the last data point more than five degrees off. The relative humidity forecast did not even make it onto the target let alone close the recorded data, N.O.A.A. gets a poor rating for the relative humidity forecast overnight. . They will try again, until they get it right.
Forecast data for today.
