Overnight we did have some light snow showers, but they did not add to the overall total for the storm. The day started out overcast as a result of those showers, but right now the sun seems to be making an appearance. Yea Sun!
For today N.O.A.A. still predicts light scattered snow showers with the cloud cover increasing to the mid eighty percent range (74%/81%/87%/83%), and that supports the idea of light scattered snow showers for the day. With the crust on the snow from the sleet there has been very little drifting of the snow as a result of the wind we had overnight, and even I can walk on top of it.
My Weather Stick points down as a result of the 66% relative humidity, or maybe it is forecasting some foul weather. Two of the three electronic instruments forecast partly cloudy skies with rising barometric pressure. The remote weather station forecasts foul weather with rising barometric pressure. I guess nothing is perfect. My best guess is that we will have partly cloudy skies with the possibility of a passing snow shower. That should not add to the current total though. We will get what we will get.

N.O.A.A. forecast the last two time periods fairly closely, but missed the mark early in the evening. The only data point they got right on the relative humidity was the 04:00 hours point. Not good guys.
