The temperature is on the rise, the clouds are making their appearance and we have had a trace of rain. The overnight low temperature occurred at 22:00 hours last night, and it has been rising slowly since then. Right now, it is 29.8 degrees, and it appears that we will exceed the freezing mark as the morning wears on. N.O.A.A. does not seem to have gotten the predominant weather correct since there is no ice on the roads or walkways. They did predict a nasty commute this morning, but it appears that the roads are just wet according to one report I have gotten.
For today, N.O.A.A. predicts rain tapering to showers by later this morning. The predicted cloud cover (92%/86%/80%/80%) and temperature forecasts do support that prediction. Looking toward the west it does appear that we have some showers moving into our area. I checked the NEXRAD radar, and it shows the bulk of the moisture already past us. The Weather Underground model forecast maps show a storm approaching us, breaking up and reforming off shore. They do show some light clouds and precipitation in the area today, but we shall have to wait and see on that.
My Weather Stick points slightly up, the effect of 77% relative humidity. My Weather Station Console has its storm alert active with falling barometric pressure. The Min/Max Thermometer indicates foul weather with falling barometric pressure, and the remote weather station indicates falling barometric pressure with clouds. Nothing like having total disagreement on the forecast from the electronics. The only thing they agree on is the direction of the barometric pressure. My guess is that we will see unsettled weather with moderating temperatures. At least we will not be below freezing all day as we were earlier this month.

N.O.A.A. only missed the temperature at 19:00 hours, the rest of them they forecast correctly. They only missed the first two data points overnight by more than 5% for the relative humidity, the last two were very close to the recorded data overnight.
