This Was Another Gorgeous Day.
We had mild temperatures, light winds and a few clouds passing overhead. It was a great day for a road trip, and a friend of mine and I did exactly that. I stuffed my outdoor wood boiler yesterday afternoon, and because of the mild weather we are having right now, I may not need to stuff it again until Monday or Tuesday. I do not mind that at all. N.O.A.A. had the predominant weather correct for today, although I think they might have been a little low on the estimation of the cloud cover until late this afternoon.
For tonight, N.O.A.A. forecasts light cloud cover again (29% all night until 04:00 hours when it will drop to 28%), slightly cooler temperatures but no precipitation. The NEXRAD radar shows some weather in extreme southern New England, but it seems to be moving away from us. The Weather Underground model forecast maps also show no potential storms headed in our direction.
My weather Stick points up responding to the 59% relative humidity. All three of the electronic instruments forecast improving barometric pressure. Two of them are forecasting fair skies. The remote weather station forecasts partly cloudy skies. My best guess based on what I have seen outside is that we will have a few clouds, some light wind out of the North-Northwest to Northeast, moderating temperatures and plenty of stars. Orion was quite visible tonight. If we continue to have a few more clear nights I will try to get a few "star pictures" with my newer digital camera, or I may try some with my film camera and its macro/zoom lens. I have some experimentation to do.

Comparative data for today.
Temperature: 35°F/41.1°F//45°F/48.7°F//50°F/56.4°F//50°F/49.6°F
Relative Humidity: 89%/75%//51%/60%//36%/39%//36%/40%.
The temperature forecast and recorded data were closer that they were for the overnight, but they were still not great. The relative humidity recorded and forecast data were the closest for the last two periods. This was still not great, but it was better than the overnight. It is difficult to predict the future, particularly when the weather changes so quickly here during the spring and fall.
Forecast data for the overnight.
Temperature: 40°F/34°F/29°F/25°F
Relative Humidity: 50%/58%/66%/74%
