The clouds have moved in, thickening and lowering as they came, all day. The temperature did warm up, and reduced the snow pack even more. There is just a little more snow on the ground in places where it drifted as the wind moved it around. My driveway is completely clear of snow and ice. All that is left is the mud. We did not have any mixed precipitation late this afternoon as N.O.A.A. predicted.
For the overnight N.O.A.A. predicts snow ending around 01:00 and then no precipitation. The cloud cover supports that (91%/91%/91%/83%) as does the temperature falling below freezing around midnight.
My Weather Stick seems to be trying to make a circle curling up in response to some very low relative humidity (40%). All three of the electronic instruments predict falling barometric pressure. The Weather Station Console and remote weather station forecast partly cloudy skies, while the Min/Max Thermometer forecasts foul weather. Someone told me that it was snowing in Jay around 19:00 hours, but I have not seeing it here yet. We may get some yet, but if we do, it will not be plowable snow. We stand a chance of some snow showers overnight, but it should melt quickly and take some more of the snow pack with it.
