It really does not matter if it is cloudy, as long as the temperature is warming up, and it has done that today. At sunset, the sky is overcast, and as you can see, there are ominous clouds to the west.

N.O.A.A. had us suffering under rain tapering to showers today, but that just did not happen. The temperature did make it into the low fifties this afternoon. This was not a bad day; it just was not a great one.
For the overnight N.O.A.A. sees us being on the line between no precipitation and light scattered snow showers. That forecast is for the entire night. The predicted cloud cover (40%/29%/18%/24%) does not really support that forecast, and neither does the temperature forecast. There is a 10 mph wind expected out of the Northwest overnight.
My Weather Stick points down, and with a 78% relative humidity who can blame it? Two of the electronic instruments (the same as this morning) indicate falling barometric pressure and foul weather. The remote weather station still forecasts clouds with steady barometric pressure. With the northwest wind, we can probably expect things to get a bit cooler than last night, but with no precipitation. We keep springing ahead and falling back, but at least every spring ahead moves us a little closer to warm weather.
