Wind, Wind And More Wind
As this day has moved from its period of light into its period of dark the wind has continued to get stronger. That has made it feel much colder than it really was. N.O.A.A. predicted a significant amount of wind for today, no precipitation, minimal cloud cover and moderate temperatures. I think we had all of that.
For the overnight N.O.A.A. forecasts no precipitation, wind, temperatures dropping below freezing again and minimal cloud cover (5%'7%/8%/10%). There are no storms showing up on the NEXRAD radar or the Weather Underground model forecast maps, and I guess that is good.
My Weather Stick points up, and at 30% relative humidity I would be surprised if it were not. There seems to be some disagreement among my electronic instruments. My Weather Station Console is forecasting partly cloudy skies with improving barometric pressure. The Min/Max Thermometer forecasts fair skies and improving barometric pressure. Finally, the remote weather station forecasts partly cloudy skies with improving barometric pressure. We obviously have a high-pressure system moving into the area, and it is just a question of time before the electronics catch up with the reality.

N.O.A.A. was within 5° of the target with the temperature for today, and they did equally well with the relative humidity. Excellent job.
