Windy And Cloudless

This is the kind of afternoon when, once again, it would have been great to get out and fly a kite. It was windy, and as you can see from the data, even though the temperature was in the forties, with the windchill it felt like it was in the twenties. The sky was as clear as I have seen it, and the photo shows how clear it was with the moon against the afternoon sky.

The Moon Against The Clear Blue Afternoon Sky
It appears that N.O.A.A. got the bulk of the forecast correct for today. We had no rain, it was windy the sky was crystal clear and the temperature reached into the forties.
For the overnight N.O.A.A. still predicts the sky will remain clear (0%/0%/1%/17%), there will be no precipitation, we will still have some wind and the temperature will drop into the low twenties. The NEXRAD radar and Weather Underground model forecast maps still show no precipitation headed in our direction for the immediate future.
My Weather Stick seems to point up more than usual, and with 24% relative humidity, who could blame it. There seems to be a change afoot with the electronic instruments. All three instruments show a decrease in the barometric pressure. The Weather Station Console and Min/Max Thermometer forecast partly cloudy
skies, while the remote weather station forecasts clouds. These forecasts are very dependant on the changes in the barometric pressure, and that has fallen slightly. I think we will see a continuation of the clear weather for the time being (at least the next two days.).
High Temperature (°F): 48.0
Current Temperature (°F): 40.2
Relative Humidity (%): 24%
Dew Point (°F): 10.4

Barometric Pressure (in. Hg): 30.17
Wind Direction: North Northwest
Wind Speed (mph): 14.9
Wind Chill ((°F): 23.6
Precipitation (type): None
Amount (inches): 0.00
Sky-PM: Clear/Red

Comparative data for today.
Temperature: 24°F/25.5°F//36°F/35.4°F//42°F/46.5°F//42°F/47.1°F
Relative Humidity: 50%/37%//32%/31%//26%/26%//29%/24%.

N.O.A.A. was within 5° of the target with the temperature for the today; however they missed the relative humidity by more than 10% at the first specified time, but hit the rest of them. That was not a bad job.
Forecast data for the overnight.
Temperature: 35°F/29°F/25°F/22°F
Relative Humidity: 35%/46%/52%/59%
