N.O.A.A. predicted, and we got, no precipitation overnight. The temperature did not fall as far as they predicted, only reaching the low thirties rather than the low twenties. The cloud cover is in line with the current prediction, but higher than the overnight prediction. With the exception of the wind it was a pleasant night. The wind made it feel colder than it was, but that wind also, probably, ushered in some slightly warmer than predicted air.
For today N.O.A.A. forecasts no precipitation, temperatures rising into the low fifties, cloud cover increasing until around noontime then falling by late afternoon (50%/57%/63%/46%) and moderate wind. This should be a pleasant day with less sunshine than we have been having, but a bit warmer. We can handle that, particularly the warmer part.
My Weather Stick points up, still showing its dependence on the relative humidity for its direction. All three of my electronic instruments indicate the deterioration in the barometric pressure. They do not agree on the type of weather that portends. The Weather Station Console forecasts partly cloudy skies. The Min/Max Thermometer predicts foul weather. The remote weather station says it is going to be cloudy. Since I have a vote and since there is a red sky this morning I would suggest that this system will deteriorate, and with the mares' tails. mackerel scales I suggest that we will have some foul weather in the next 24 hours.
