Today was a delightful day to get outside, cut and split the last of the wood that was in my driveway. I now have only around 25 logs to cut and split, and it all will be done. Now I need to get started on next winter's wood. No, it never ends, but it sure beats paying Exxon/Mobil for oil. The temperature did make it into the low fifties, just as N.O.A.A. predicted. There was very little cloud cover, the wind, while present, was not unpleasant. It kept the black flies away, if there were any out and about.
For tonight N.O.A.A. predicts temperatures in the low twenties, clear skies (4%/5%./5%/8%), no precipitation and moderate winds. A pretty good forecast if it is correct. I have checked the NEXRAD radar again and there is even less showing on it than there was this morning. The Weather Underground model forecast maps are still calling for any precipitation to start Monday morning and continue into Tuesday. We will just have to wait and see on that.

Thermometer forecasts partly cloudy skies and the remote weather station forecasts cloudy skies. From the shot of Mount Blue you can see the clouds to the west. I suspect they will dissipate, and we will have clear skies again overnight.
