Sooner Or Later Spring Will Really Get Here( Probably Later)

Last night N.O.A.A. forecast light scattered snow showers. I do not believe that we had any, but that is hard to say since I did not stay up all night to observe the event. There was no visible accumulation, so by circumstantial evidence I will stand by that statement. Shortly after 20:00 hours we reached our overnight low temperature, and it has been warming up since then.

The Snow Clings Tenaciously to the Carriage House Roof
For today Wilton Maine is close to the edge that N.O.A.A. predicts will receive light scattered snow showers. The cloud cover does support that (80%/83%/87%/85%). The temperature suggests that any precipitation that falls will be in the form of liquid rather than frozen (it is 39.7°F already at 10:00 hours). We are currently seeing some sun, although it is filtered by the cirrus and altostratus clouds.
My Weather Stick points slightly up, and at 55% relative humidity I would have expected it to point more definitely up. Two of my electronic instruments forecast fair skies with rising barometric pressure while the remote weather station forecasts foul weather, but with rising barometric pressure. It may yet catch up with its fellow instruments, or maybe the others will catch up with it. From what I can see outside I suspect that we stand a chance for some precipitation, probably liquid, but I also suspect that it will be light and very scattered. The winds appear to be quite blustery ranging from calm to almost 12 mph, which means we will have some windchill to deal with. This is more like early March than approaching mid-April.

Comparative data for the overnight.
Temperature:35°F/29.4°F//33°F/29.6°F//30°F/30.9°F//28°F/30.0°F
Relative Humidity: 56%/53%//61%/63%//69%/69%//78%/68%.

The only data point that was not within the +/- 5°F was at 20:00 hours last night, and that was only 1°F off. The only relative humidity data point that missed the mark by more than +/- 5% was at 05:00 hours this morning. N.O.A.A. did not perform badly overnight.
Forecast data for today.
Temperature: 26°F/38°F/41°F/40°F
Relative Humidity: 70%/47%/39%/44%
