Still No Precipitation But Plenty Of Clouds

N.O.A.A. forecast light snow for today, although we were close to the border between the snow and no-snow line here in Wilton Maine. I did not see any snow or rain during the day today at all. We had clouds moving in all day starting with some cirrus, moving to altostratus and ending now with stratocumulus clouds. We may yet get some precipitation out of these clouds before they move on. It did get warm and cause some snow to fall off the carriage house roof as you can see below.

The Snow Eventually Yields To The Heat Of The Sun
For the overnight N.O.A.A. has the same prediction, light scattered snow showers for our area. The cloud cover forecast basically supports that (82%/72%/62%/61%) as does the temperature forecast after 20:00 hours. Neither the NEXRAD radar nor the Weather Underground model forecast maps indicate that we will have any precipitation overnight.
My Weather Stick points up responding to the 54% relative humidity. The same two electronic instruments that predicted fair skies and rising barometric pressure are still doing so. The remote weather station still predicts foul weather, but rising barometric pressure. I still think we are looking at partly cloudy skies with the potential for some precipitation overnight. I do not think we will see any accumulation though.

The N.O.A.A. forecast for temperature for today missed the mark only at 08:00 hours. The only data point that was on the mark was at 11:00 hours this morning. N.O.A.A. did not perform very well today. Oh well, we cannot expect perfection every time now can we?.
Forecast data for the overnight.

Relative Humidity: 58%/72%/83%/95%
