The Clouds That Haunted Us Are Dissipating

Today was, apparently, a day of transition. We started out overcast, and it remained that way until late this afternoon, when the clouds went from stratus to stratocumulus, and by this evening all that were left were some puffy cumulus clouds, which are continuing to dissipate. N.O.A.A. called for light snow all day, but except for the flurries early this morning we did not have any more here in Wilton.
For tonight N.O.A.A. does not see any precipitation for our area, and this is the first period in a while that they forecast that. In fact they predict that the cloud cover will continue to decrease (64%/54%/43%/31%) and the temperature will also decline into the low twenties. The wind seems to be staying below 10 mph, so windchill should not be a problem tonight either.
My Weather Stick responds as usual to the 55% relative humidity by pointing up. The remote weather station has finally stopped forecasting rain, but it is still forecasting cloudy conditions with rising barometric pressure. Both of the other electronic instruments forecast fair skies with rising barometric pressure. Based on all the data at my disposal I would suggest that the sky will continue to clear, the temperature fall and the barometric pressure rise. With very little wind this should be a pleasant night.

The N.O.A.A. forecast for temperature for today was about as close as I have seen it. The 08:00 and 11:00 hour predictions for the relative humidity were once again outside the realm of reality, but the 14:00 and 17:00 hour predictions were right on the mark.
Forecast data for the overnight.
Temperature: 33°F/28°F/24°F/21°F
Relative Humidity: 58%/71%/84%/96%
