This Has Been A Real Spring Day

N.O.A.A. forecast no precipitation, temperatures in the mid-forties and very little cloud cover. They were right on the first and last, but it did get quite a bit warmer by 14:00 hours. It has been the kind of day we have been seeking for almost a month. The snow is now gone from my carriage house roof, but I fear that it will come back.
N.O.A.A. predicts that we will have no precipitation overnight, the temperatures will fall back into the mid to lower twenties and the cloud cover will increase significantly (20%/36%/52%/62%). All of this in advance of a storm system the Weather Underground model forecast maps are threatening us with for late tomorrow and all day Friday. The NEXRAD radar already shows precipitation south and west of us, and it is moving in our direction.
My Weather Stick points up, and with 26% relative humidity I would be amazed if it did not. The usual two electronic instruments forecast fair skies and improving barometric pressure for the overnight. The remote weather station forecasts clouds with steady barometric pressure. With the radar and model forecast maps showing what they are, as well as the N.O.A.A. graphical forecast maps for tomorrow and Friday I would guess that we had best be prepared for another significant snowstorm.

The N.O.A.A. forecast for temperature for today was good for the 08:00 hour’s data point, but they went downhill from there. The relative humidity forecast after the 08:00 hours data point was very close to the actual readings.
