Only About Half of This Snowstorm is Left.
The temperature warmed up, and the snow is melting off very quickly. N.O.A.A. had predicted light scattered snow showers for the day, but that just did not happen, thank goodness. There were plenty of clouds around, but there was also a bit of sun, and that certainly helped get rid of the overnight accumulation of snow.

There's a Thaw Beneath the Fallen Snow
N.O.A.A. is still predicting light scattered snow showers for the overnight, and the cloud cover (88%/88%/88%/89%) and temperature do seem to be supportive of that forecast. I am not quite so sure since the barometric pressure is rising, and usually on a rising barometer, we do not get foul weather.
My Weather Stick has finally caught up with itself, and points straight out, which I would expect with the relative humidity at 68%. All three of the electronic instruments are acting in concert by forecasting partly cloudy skies and improving barometric pressure. For myself, I suspect that we will see the cloud remnants from yesterday's storm passing though, and improving conditions overnight.

Comparative data for today.
Temperature:34°F/36.6°F//42°F/46.9°F//46°F/45.1°F//46°F/42.6°F
Relative Humidity: 65%/82%//46%/59%//40%/63%//39%/64%.
For today, N.O.A.A did quite well with the forecast versus the recorded temperatures at this station. Their capability to forecast the relative humidity still leaves a great deal to be desired. They were not even close to the recorded relative humidity for today.
