The Storm Has Arrived!
As N.O.A.A. forecast this did start as rain around 14:00 hours, and then it did change over to snow at around 17:00 hours. To this point in time, we have had 0.11 inches of rain followed by about an inch of snow so far. As you can see from both the picture,

The Snow Is Beginning To Pile Up, Again!
and the temperature this is a wet heavy snow, and it will not be pleasant to clear the dooryards and driveways at all. It is a task I do not look forward to.
For the overnight N.O.A.A predicts snow for this area. I will say that the line between the snow and rain is very close to this area. For that reason, we may not get as much snow as was originally predicted. That prediction for our area was expected to be between 10 and 18 inches of new snow. We shall check the snow gauge in the morning, since we were back down to bare ground around it by this evening.
My Weather Stick points down, and if you expected differently, with 90% relative humidity you have been surprised. Two of the electronic instruments have not caught up with the weather yet and are predicting partly cloudy skies with falling barometric pressure. The remote weather station forecasts cloudy skies with falling barometric pressure. O.K. I can see the falling barometric pressure indicating foul weather, but the instrumentation needs to catch up with that. We are having foul weather now, and I expect that to continue for a while, like into Tuesday.

N.O.A.A. forecast the temperature for today within the +/- 5°F latitude allowed statistically. The first and last predictions for the relative humidity today were correct. Not a great job of prognostication, but not bad either.
