There Might Have Been a Shower Overnight

The stones on my front walk appeared to be wet this morning when I stepped out to monitor the weather conditions. There was also a small amount of water on top of one of my ash cans, but there was apparently not enough to register in my rain gauge. I checked the NEXRAD radar, and they do show a short line of showers moving southeast away from us, dissipating as it goes. On that basis N,.O.A.A. was correct, it is just the timing that may not have been correct. Obviously it was a pleasant night, at least from the standpoint of the temperature.
For today N.O.A.A. predicts no precipitation, cloud cover dissipating

to very low levels (2%/5%/7%/3%) and the temperature reaching the mid-sixties. The temperature right now is in free fall, and the barometric pressure is rising rapidly. The latter is already up 0.10 inches of mercury and the former down half a degree. Talk about changeable Maine weather, we have it right now.
My Weather Stick is up responding to the 64% relative humidity. When I checked the electronic instruments just before 07:00 hours two of them were showing partly cloudy skies with rising barometric pressure. The remote weather station was indicating rain with rising barometric pressure. I have not checked the other two, but the Weather Station currently predicts fair skies with the rising barometric pressure. The wind is holding at almost 7 mph, and the relative humidity is falling (now down about 2%). Just to note, the Weather Underground forecast maps are now showing no precipitation for the next couple of days, which is a change from what they were saying over the weekend. If nothing else this should be an interesting day.

Comparative data for the overnight.
Temperature:67°F/68.7°F//57°F/58.6°F//49°F/66.0°F//46°F/61.0°F
Relative Humidity: 32%/31%//47%/47%//66%/47%//63%/58%.

There was an obvious change in the air mass between 23:00 hours and 02:00 hours. The temperature and relative humidity forecasts , which were right on target went awry. The temperature started going back up, and the relative humidity started going back down. The relative humidity ended close to the target prediction, but the temperature was fully 15 degrees off. Interesting, very interesting.
Forecast data for today.
Temperature: 48°F/62°F/67°F/65°F
Relative Humidity: 48%/28%/20%/22%
