Currently the clouds are developing spaces between them, and it does appear that some clearing is underway. The temperature still has not risen significantly, but if the sun does come out we can expect that to happen.
For today N.O.A.A. forecasts light scattered showers for this morning with a return to no precipitation for the rest of the day. They further show the cloud cover dissipating (79%/64%/51%//33%), and the sky becoming almost clear. I like the sound of that. The NEXRAD composite radar shows no rain in the northeast region, and the Weather Underground model forecast maps snow the system moving away from us. Hooray!
