In this morning's forecast N.O.A.A. predicted fog a bit south of us, but it did reach all the way to Wilton, showing that Mother Nature will once again have the last word. We did not, as was predicted, have any precipitation overnight, and that was fine. The temperature remained in the mid to upper forties, and that was predicted also.
For today, N.O.A.A. forecasts no precipitation, the cloud cover dissipating (64%/36%/31%/33%), and the temperature rising to over eighty degrees. This is almost going to seem like a summer day. I think we can handle that. The NEXRAD radar is showing some activity for Northern Maine, but none here. The Weather Underground model forecast maps show a possibility of clouds and showers this evening, but none today as far as I can tell.
My Weather Stick (surprise of surprises) points down responding to the 86% relative humidity. The three electronic instruments do not seem to agree at all. The Weather Station calls for a mix of sun and clouds with falling barometric pressure. The Min/Max thermometer forecasts foul weather with falling barometric pressure, and the remote weather station indicates fair weather with steady barometric pressure. As I look out the window I see the sun has broken through, so I will say that we can expect some periods of clouds and some of sun. As to the barometric pressure, we will just have to wait and see what happens.
