This should be an awesome start to the Memorial Day Holiday weekend. It is already quite warm and remained warm overnight. Currently the sun is out, and the temperature is climbing quickly toward the predicted high of ninety. We had no precipitation overnight and the temperature never went below fifty-five. As noted above this seems to be the start of a summer season. It is hazy this morning as well.
For today, N.O.A.A. forecasts high temperatures at 90 degrees, low cloud cover (26%/18%/10%/13%), no precipitation and moderate relative humidity. In other words a summer day. There is no precipitation appearing on the NEXRAD regional composite radar, and the Weather Underground model forecast maps show no precipitation until Monday. Sorry about that folks, but we are getting to the point where a bit of rain would be helpful.
My Weather Stick points up in response to the 39% relative humidity. Two of the electronic instruments indicate foul weather with falling barometric pressure. The remote weather station forecasts a mix of fair and cloudy skies with steady barometric pressure at 30.03 in. Hg. From what I can see outside I think that is probably the closest to reality. It will get hot early this afternoon, so take care to stay hydrated if you are going to be active outside.
