I guess we are having our summer early this year. The sun is shining brightly, the winds are blowing gently, and the temperature is rising. Overnight we did not have any precipitation and the temperatures did remain above sixty all night. In fact our low temperature here in Wilton, Maine was 60.9°F. I can remember July nights that were not that warm.
For today N.O.A.A. forecast fog to start the day, but no other precipitation, cloud cover remaining quite low (27%/21%/14%/10%), and temperatures in the low 80's. There has been no change in the Weather Underground model forecast maps, but there is some precipitation at the very western edge of the NEXRAD composite radar picture. It appears to be headed east, but I am not sure if it will affect us over the weekend. That will become more apparent as time moves along.
My Weather Stick still points up in response to the 53% relative humidity. That is no big surprise. The electronic weather instruments appear to be stuck with two of them calling for foul weather and falling barometric pressure, and the remote weather station forecasting cloudy conditions with steady barometric pressure. The sun does seem to be dodging in and out of the clouds today, so I would have to suggest that we will see that condition all day. I do not believe that we will have any precipitation today, but I am not so sure about tomorrow. We will just have to see what happens here in Wilton, Maine.

N.O.A.A. did quite well with the temperature until 05:00 hours, then they missed by a little bit. With the exception of the 23:00 hour forecast point for the relative humidity they did well with that as well.
