N.O.A.A. predicted no precipitation, and they were right. The cloud cover did vary a bit more than they said it would, and the cloud type varied from cirrus to altostratus to broken cumulus, and it was even clear for a while. It did warm up into the eighties, and with the wind it was quite comfortable to be working outside. What a change from last year during May and June. I am thankful for the change.
For the overnight N.O.A.A. says we will have no precipitation, the cloud cover will remain reasonably low (26%/18%/10%/20%), the temperature will remain comfortably in the low fifties to low forties and the relative humidity is expected to approach 100%. The NEXRAD composite radar shows that much of the precipitation see earlier has dissipated, and does not pose a threat to us for the present time. The Weather Underground model forecast maps have not changed their outlook for tomorrow, and we may be in for some showers during the late afternoon.
My Weather Stick points up, again in response to the moderately low relative humidity. All three of the electronic instruments are currently in agreement. They predict partly cloudy skies with rising barometric pressure. Who am I to argue, I would guess that partly cloudy skies with no precipitation and rising barometric pressure are acceptable.
