N.O.A.A. did get another one right. Around 15:00 hours we did have a brief light shower here in Wilton, Maine. It did not last long, and there was not enough rain to measure, but we had it nonetheless. I did get some more work done on the garden, and I hope to finish a great deal more tomorrow. I went out and got tomato and pepper plants, and they definitely will be planted tomorrow. In fact that was the area that I worked on today.
For the overnight N.O.A.A. predicts rain until around 02:00 hours, and that tapering to light rain by 05:00 hours. The cloud cover certainly supports that at (95%/97%/98%/86%). The temperature is expected to drop into the low fifties, and the relative humidity to rise into the 90+% range. The NEXRAD composite radar still shows a significant amount of rain moving in our direction, although there is not supposed to be much after sunrise tomorrow. The Weather Underground model forecast maps indicate that it may last until around noon.
My Weather Stick points up, responding to the 62% relative humidity. All three of the electronic instruments indicate falling barometric pressure with a mix of fair and cloudy skies for the overnight. There is some indication as noted above that we will have some foul weather overnight, and with the appearance of the sky and the shower earlier I would not be surprised to see some storms overnight. We will just need to check the rain gauge in the morning.

N.O.A.A. did an excellent job with both the temperature and relative humidity forecasts. They only missed the 17:00 hour relative humidity data point. Not a bad job.
