It is true that clouds moved through this area of Maine, but Wilton did not have any precipitation. N.O.A.A. had that part right, and the cloud cover came pretty close to the forecast levels. I got some more work done out in the garden, but there is still much to do. There is some rain in the forecast for tomorrow, but I may yet be able to get some more done before it is too late to get anything done. There is always a rush to judgment when dealing with something a weather dependent as a garden, whether it is planting or harvesting.
For the overnight N.O.A.A. predicts no precipitation, cloud cover increasing as the night wears on (14%/28%/39%/51%), and temperatures falling into the low fifties. There is no precipitation visible on the NEXRAD composite radar. The Weather Underground model forecast maps indicate that we may be in for some precipitation tomorrow afternoon. N.O.A.A. thinks it will happen earlier rather than later.
My Weather Stick points up, and that is a little surprising with 78% relative humidity. I would have expected it to be either straight or slightly down. All three of my electronic instruments indicate that the barometric pressure will be rising overnight. Two of the instruments forecast fair skies, while the remote weather station is predicting a mix of clouds and fair skies. At this point I am not quite sure what to suggest. The major prognosticators predict rain, and my instruments predict fair weather at least for the present. I think we will see fair skies overnight, but there may be some changes during the day tomorrow.

N.O.A.A. only missed the first value for both the temperature and relative humidity for today. That is not too bad, but they have done better. They will try again tomorrow I am sure.
