Some Rain, But No Accumulation
Most of today when I was working outside it was sprinkling. There was not enough to amount to anything, but it was there. So, N.O.A.A. was right we did have light scattered showers, essentially all day, but not enough to measure. I planted 324 feet of popcorn, 162 feet of silver queen sweet corn, 108 feet of bicolor quickie and butter and sugar sweet corn. Now I have to plant my cucurbits, lettuce, onions cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, scallions, potatoes, and whatever else strikes my fancy.
For the overnight N.O.A.A. forecasts increasing cloudiness (87%/92%/97%/98%), with scattered light showers and light winds. The NEXRAD radar is showing some precipitation in the area, and the Weather Underground model forecast maps indicate we are in for some stormy weather.
My Weather Stick points slightly down, and with 84% relative humidity I can believe that. The electronic instruments are just as confused as they were this morning. The only change was the remote weather station calling for falling barometric pressure. I think we are in for some unsettled weather.
