Is There Rain Behind The Sunshine?

Overnight N.O.A.A. predicted no precipitation, and indeed that is what we had. I do not believe the cloud cover was as high as it was predicted to be, particularly since it appears to be less than 30% this morning. Mother Nature seems to be continuing to outsmart the experts with N.O.A.A. With any luck at all I should be able to get close to finishing my garden for this season. We can only live in hope.
For today, N.O.A.A. predicts scattered light rain showers for Wilton, Maine, but there is no usable forecast data for the predominant weather for this afternoon. The cloud cover is predicted to be (65%/73%/81%/78%), and I am not sure what that portends. The line of showers noted on the NEXRAD radar still appears to be moving west, and away from us. There is a low pressure system on the Weather Underground forecast maps that appears to be moving onshore (westward) instead of easterly and away from us. That could bring us some showers later today.
My Weather Stick points straight out. I am not sure what that means, since with 91% relative humidity, it should be trying to make a downward circle. My electronic instruments a re a bit confused also. My Weather Station forecasts fair skies with rising barometric pressure. The other two instruments forecast falling barometric pressure with a mix of fair and cloudy skies. Looking outside I see some clouds, but a large portion of clear sky and sunshine. My best guess is that we will see a reasonably clear day with periods of clouds and sun. At least this morning should be good to get out and work in the garden.

Comparative data for the overnight.

Relative Humidity: 57%/57%//70%/80%//81%/86%//87%/89%.

Once again N.O.A.A. did well forecasting the temperature for the first half of the period, but they fell short during the second half. They did miss the recorded relative humidity during the middle of the overnight. Their performance for the overnight was not as good as I have seen it in the past, but they will continue to try. I still think they had best opt for the higher quality crystal ball.
Forecast data for today.
