No Rain During The Day Today!

Wilton, Maine did not have any of the N.O.A.A. predicted light scattered showers today. With the mix of Cirrus and Cumulonimbus clouds today and into this evening we do stand a chance of having a shower tonight. My lawnmower went back into the shop for repair again, and that cut my work in the garden short. Maybe tomorrow it will get done.
For the overnight N.O.A.A. is still predicting light scattered showers and their prediction of (78%/75%/72%/74%) cloud cover that is not out of the question. The NEXRAD radar is still showing showers moving from east to west as a result of the low pressure system standing offshore. That system with its counter-clockwise rotation is easily seen on the Weather Underground model forecast maps. It will be interesting to see if it starts to move eastward tomorrow morning.
My Weather Stick points up, and that works with the 62% relative humidity. All three of the electronic instruments currently forecast fair skies with rising barometric pressure. Who am I to argue with them? Of course that is in opposition to N.O.A.A.'s prediction of light scattered showers. We will have to wait until tomorrow to see what happens.

Comparative data for today.

Relative Humidity: 78%/76%//65%/58%//55%/52%//55%/47%.

Today N.O.A.A. missed the temperature forecast across the board. They did not have one forecast close to the recorded temperature. They did a little better with the relative humidity, having correctly forecast two of the four periods correctly. I still think they had best opt for the higher quality crystal ball.
Forecast data for the overnight.
Temperature: 70°F/64°F/61°F/60°F
Relative Humidity: 73%/81%/81%/87%
