We Had A Light Shower At 23:00 hours.

There was not enough precipitation to measure, but we did have a shower last night. So, with that said, N.O.A.A. did get the predominant weather correct. We, here in Wilton, Maine, happened to be under one of those showers. For today, I hope that the low pressure system begins to move east, so we can get rid of these showers for a while, and some things can be finished, like the garden and maybe the lawn.
N.O.A.A. is holding fast to their prediction of light scattered showers all day today. The cloud cover forecast (67%/67%/67%/64%), supports that forecast. The Weather Underground model forecast maps still indicate that the low pressure system that has been plaguing us will continue to remain off shore, but just far enough east that we may not have any of the predicted showers. The NEXRAD radar shows some showers moving from east to west along the coast, and they may or may not reach this far inland this morning.
My Weather Stick points down in response to 90% relative humidity. Two of the electronic instruments forecast rising barometric pressure with fair skies for today. The Min/Max Thermometer currently forecasts falling barometric pressure with a mix of sun and clouds for today. That is a bit different from what we usually see. Based on all the information available to me, I would suggest that for today we will see plenty of sunshine, but there may be a chance of a shower due to the instability caused by that offshore low pressure system. Right now I am seeing a mix of sun and clouds.

N.O.A.A.'s forecast of the temperature was correct for the overnight. They only totally missed the 20:00 hours relative humidity forecast and were close at 02:00 hours. This is better than they did yesterday.
