N.O.A.A. did say that we would have no precipitation overnight, and they were right. They did not, however get the cloud cover even close since it is completely overcast this morning. It is also warmer this morning than they predicted it would be. I am still hopeful that we will have a dry morning.
For today N.O.A.A. is still predicting no precipitation, and a relatively low cloud cover (74%/58%/59%/41%) . The NEXRAD radar continues to show storm cells moving from east to west, indicating that there is still some influence from that low pressure system offshore. The Weather Underground model forecast maps indicate that we may have some pop-up showers late this afternoon or evening.
My Weather Stick points straight out, and that is appropriate for 80% relative humidity. My electronic instruments remain confused. The Weather Station calling for fair skies with rising barometric pressure. The Min//Max thermometer forecasting partly cloudy skies with falling barometric pressure, and the remote weather station indicating that with the partly cloudy skies the barometer will rise. Taking all this data into account, I would suggest that we will see a mix of sun and clouds today, cooler temperatures than yesterday and no precipitation for our area of Wilton, Maine.

N.O.A.A. missed the recorded temperature at each of the forecast points overnight. They only did a little better with the relative humidity, since they got only the 23:00 and 05:00 hour points correct. I am surprised by the errors for the overnight temperature.
