Clear And Comfortable
What a great day to be working outside. It was fantastic. N.O.A.A. did have the predominant weather correct. We had no precipitation, the sky remained basically clear, the winds were light and the relative humidity stayed below 50% during the heat of the day. A great day to replant my sweet corn.
N.O.A.A. again predicts no precipitation overnight with the cloud cover increasing, but still less than 50% (25%/33%/40%/42%). It is supposed to get more humid though as the night eases into morning. I would not be surprised to see a bit of fog in the morning.
My Weather Stick sees the relative humidity at 75% and points slightly up. We have some agreement with the electronic instruments. First, all three instruments are forecasting falling barometric pressure, so we may be seeing the weather pattern changing. Two of the instruments are forecasting foul weather tomorrow, and the remote weather station predicts cloudy skies. It would not be unreasonable for us to have some rain tomorrow since it is the second day of the Trek Across Maine, and it usually does rain on the cyclists on the second day at least. Good luck folks.

N.O.A.A. missed the recorded temperature for the 08:00 point, and they missed the two afternoon points as well. The sun was out and it got warm. They did get the relative humidity right during the middle of the day, but missed both ends. This was not one of their better efforts.
