Clouds Moving In For A Visit
Overnight we did not have any precipitation, although the clouds seem to have been moving in all night. Currently the sun is shining, but there are quite a few puffy cumulus clouds around.
For this morning N.O.A.A. is forecasting light scattered showers. Early this afternoon they are predicting rain for Wilton, Maine and finishing the day with some more light scattered showers. I do not think their cloud cover forecast supports that prediction (25%/25%/83%/71%) unless these are pop-up thundershowers that are predicted.
My Weather Stick points straight out, responding to the 69% relative humidity. All three of the electronic instruments are finally the same. They are all predicting foul weather with falling barometric pressure. The pressure has fallen and is continuing to do so, and that usually indicates some foul weather on its way. Despite the sunshine I see outside right now, there are enough clouds building in that showers are not out of the question. It may rain on our day, but have a happy Father's Day anyway.

N.O.A.A. had the 20:00 hour point correct for the temperature, but missed the rest. The only relative humidity point they missed was at 02:00 hours. They seem to be doing better with the relative humidity right now than the temperature. They are still not doing very well.
