For today N.O.A.A. did get the predominant weather correct. We were visiting people in Norway, Maine, and they had a shower this afternoon. Here in Wilton Maine we did not have any precipitation. It is humid and becoming oppressive. It really did depend on your location whether you had rain or not. By the way that shower was brief and light.
For the overnight N.O.A.A. forecasts no precipitation, and their prediction of the cloud cover bears that out (52%/28%/3%/5%). The Weather Underground maps are not working right now, but the NEXRAD radar currently shows the main group of showers north and east of us with a few south and west. They all seem to be moving south and away from us.
My Weather Stick points slightly up in response to the 67% relative humidity. The opinions of the electronic instruments have diverged again. The Weather Station forecasts foul weather with falling barometric pressure. The Min/Max Thermometer forecasts partly cloudy skies with rising barometric pressure. Finally, the remote weather station forecasts clouds with steady barometric pressure. This leaves me with a wide open field for my prediction. I think the sky will clear, that the relative humidity will become a bit more oppressive, there will be no rain, and the temperature will not change very much at all.

N.O.A.A. had both ends of the day correct with their temperature forecast. They did not get any of the relative humidity forecast points correct. They certainly did not do better with the relative humidity today, and they did not do well with the temperature either.
