The Clouds Were Blown Away Overnight!
At dawn the sun opened the day with clear skies. The temperature was in the mid -forties, and it was beautiful. There was dew on the grass, so at some point the dew point was reached. N.O.A.A. predicted no precipitation overnight, so they did get that part right.
For today, N.O.A.A. forecasts no precipitation again, and the cloud cover (38%/39%/40%/33%) does support that. The NEXRAD radar does not show any precipitation near our area of Wilton, Maine, or moving in our direction. The Weather Underground model forecast maps also do not show any storm systems in our area for today.
My Weather Stick points slightly up, and appears to be responding to the 80% relative humidity. As was the case last night two of the electronic instruments forecast fair skies with rising barometric pressure. The remote weather station forecasts clouds with steady barometric pressure. I do not quite believe the latter, and will suggest that we are going to have a very pleasant day, not too hot, and reasonably low relative humidity. This should be a great day to get the outdoor chores done so fishing may be an option later in the week. We can live in hope.

N.O.A.A. was within five degrees of the recorded temperature on all four periods overnight. Their record for the relative humidity was not as good, since they missed the 02:00 and 05:00 points for the relative humidity.
