If you like sunshine, warm temperatures and light breezes then this was the day fore you. We had all of those. There was no precipitation, as N.O.A.A. predicted, and there was just enough wind to keep most of the insects from lighting and biting. My lawn is now in the process of being "bushhogged" with a borrowed field and brush mower.
For the overnight N.O.A.A. continues to predict no precipitation, and their cloud cover forecast (26%/30%/34%/44%) would support that. Both the NEXRAD radar and Weather Underground model forecast maps indicate that there is no precipitation in our area or moving in our direction. So, all the prognosticators seem to be in agreement.
My Weather Stick is smiling broadly (pointing straight up), and that surely is a response to the 67% relative humidity. My electronic instruments are indicating rising barometric pressure. Two of them forecast fair skies overnight, while the remote weather station sees the overnight as partly cloudy. My hindsight (I took the data at about 22:00 hours) shows that we did have partly cloudy skies and mild temperatures with moderate to high relative humidity making it a decent night for sleeping.

N.O.A.A. missed the forecast temperature at both ends of the day by a significant amount. As they were the other day they were of and on and off and on with the forecast of the relative humidity. This was not one of their better forecasting days.
